NSim Technology inc. a was founded on September 13, 2004. The founders, misters Jimmy Perron, M.Sc. and Jimmy Hogan, B.Eng., MBA, have conjointly built their expertise in software development softwares and intelligent systems at the Laboratoire d'Informatique Cognitive of Laval University.

Since its formation, the company has started the elaboration of a technological platform from which are coming from various softwares and modules bound to management and analysis of emergency situations (Emergency Management Systems (EMS)) and events requiring to apply security measures. The company's products are aimed at all the decision makers having cartographic and spatio-temporal analysis needs. NSim Technology has an expertise combining geomatics, artificial intelligence and 2D/3D visualisation fields.

From 2004 to 2009, the realization of many contracts granted by various clients (Defence Research and Development Canada - DRDC, DND, MTQ, AMT, etc.) largely contributed to the development of NSim's technological platform.

After more than 5 years of research and development, NSim Technology launched, in 2009, its new cartographic product NSim Contour intended for the streaming of native vectorial information and to real-time information exchange.
